RP Global Chile S.A., formerly RPI Chile Energias Renovables S.A., has been active on the Chilean market since 2006 and is developing a portfolio of over 200 MW run-off the river hydro power projects and wind power projects.
The start of construction of the first hydro plant (8,9 MW, VIII Region) is scheduled for beginning 2011 and the start of the second one (2,9 MW, IX Region) is scheduled for the second semester of 2011.
RP Global owns water rights for several other hydro power projects that are at different development stages.
In 2009, Christian Linsenmeyer, commercial director of RP Global Chile, became member of the board of directors of ACERA, Chile´s Renewable Energy Association.
